Tessie Belle Adams. 80, daughter of Allen and Maude McKee Howell, was born Aug. 22, 1911, at Carbon and died Feb. 21, 1992. at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Corning. On March 5, 1927. she married Lawrence Dale Adams at Gravity. They were the parents of four children. They fanned in Taylor and Adams Counties until 1972 when they moved to their new home in Corning.
She was a homemaker and centered her life around her family. She was preceded In death by her parents; three sisters, Gertie Curry, Viola Williams and Millie Loney, two brothers. Arthur and Harold Howell; and an Infant
grandson, Richard Adams. She is survived by her husband Dale of Coming; her
children. Dale Adams Jr. and his wife Phyllis of Carter Lake, Mary Lou Lee of Coming. Donna Rogers and her husband Herbert of Gretna, Neb., and Dean Adams and his wife Donna of Omaha, Neb.; 18 grandchildren: 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two brothers. Glen Howell and his wife Maggie of Wlshram, Ore., and Lester Howell and his wife Marjorie of Portland, Ore.; and two sisters-in-law, Millie Howell and Juanita Howell; and a son-in-law, Jim Lee. Services were held Feb. 24 at Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Corning with the Rev. Sandra Walnwright of Villisca officiating. Casket bearers were Jim Lee, Terry -, Curry, Gene Cooley, Larry Martin, Darwin Mullen and
Jimmy Williams. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Corning.
