M e d i c a l Center in Lafayette. He had been a patient there since November 15.

Born Jan. 4, 1948, in Logansport, he was the son of Alvin and Margaret Crosby Anderson. He graduated from Delphi High School in 1966, and was drafted into the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was discharged in 1969.

His marriage was to Nancy Jo Brown in Burrows, on September 6, 1970, and she survives.

Mr. Anderson worked as a heavy equipment operator at ESSROC Industries near Logansport for 39 years.

He was a member of IOOF Lodge #28 in Delphi, Logansport American Legion Post #60, Liberty Township Burrows Volunteer Fire Department where he was the acting fire chief.

Mr. Anderson enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Angela Horton (husband: Jason) of Whiteman AFB, Warrensburg, Mo.; his mother, Margaret Anderson of Monticello; a brother, Larry Anderson (wife: Sandy) of Rochester; a sister, Bonnie Wamsley (husband: Don) of Monticello; his father and mother in-law, Robert "Brownie" and Quincine "Skeet" Brown of Burrows; and two grandsons, Tyler and Andrew Horton.

Services were Tuesday at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi. Burial with Logansport American Legion military rites took place at Burrows Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Liberty Township Burrows Volunteer Fire Department. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
