A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, July 25, 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Bobby Lee Guidry, 73, who passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church if officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Sunday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Monday from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday. Interment will be in Abshire Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Richard Guidry of Crowley; two daughters, Brandy Guidry Manshack and her husband Joey, Jillian Guidry Hargrave and her husband Stanley; one son, Ramsey Guidry and his wife Rebecca; three sisters, Mona Guidry Cormier, Janet Guidry, and Delores Guidry Sloan; and four grandchildren, Morgan Leigh Hargrave, Kadence Elise Hargrave, Raynee Joelle Manshack, and Zoe' Katherine Guidry.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, August and Eunice Trahan Guidry; one sister, Ida Mae Guidry Borne; his in-laws, Jules Richard and Mildred Bertrand Richard; three brothers-in-law, James "Jimmy" Borne, Anthony "Tony" Broussard, and Randall "Randy" Richard; his nephew, Nicholas Wade Dequeant; and his godchild, Heather Nicole "Nikki" Guidry.
The Family would like to thank Doctor Paul Stringfellow, Kathy Rasberry and staff at Family Clinic of Crowley and Allison Bergeron of Heart of Hospice.
