Rufus Coffey was born August 17, 1914, in Russell Springs, KY. Rufus moved to Michigan in 1936 and on June 29, 1940, he married Margaret Wing. She preceded him in death on April 4, 2001.
Rufus and Margaret Coffey had three children- Richard (Sheryl) Coffey, Beverly (Paul) Keene, and Earl (Peggy) Coffey, six grandchildren Todd, Tonya, Gray, Brad, Mark, Karen, five great-grandchildren Tony, Gray, Christina, Travis, Ryan.
