YAKIMA - Jewell G. Marsh was born in Thornfield, MO on November 13, 1918 to Roy and Nora Delp. She married Lawrence Marsh in Missouri in 1940 and they moved to Zillah in 1948. She worked in the fruit industry till she was 73. She like to crochet and was an excellent cook. She was a member of the Eagles and The American Legion Auxillery.
Jewell is survived by one son, Don (Carol) Marsh of Zillah, WA, three Grandchildren, Ken (Tamra) Marsh of Granger, WA, Donnita Marsh and Heather Marsh of Zillah, WA, five Great-grandchildren; Lane, Chance, and Kyler March, Kaitlin Kappinger and Ty Marsh, sisters Wilma Jean Swearengin of Missouri and Barbara Kroess of Toppenish, brothers Bill Delp of Zillah and Marvin (Betty Jo) Delp of Missouri and many Nieces and Nephews and specials friend, Hank Smith. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family wishes to thank the Toppenish Nursing and Rehab Center for their kindness and compassion to both Jewell and her family.

Viewing will be held on Monday, May 19, from noon to 7:00 p.m at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Zillah, WA. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m at Valley Hills. Burial will follow at Zillah City Cemetery, Zillah, WA.
