OREGON JOURNAL Portland, Oregon Sunday, 20 November 1921, Page 15 Oregon Pioneer Dies at Age of 89 Martha Rinehart, 89-year-old Oregon pioneer, died last Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Taylor at Milwaukie. Mrs. Rinehart was born in the state of Tennessee. In 1850 she was married in Iowa to George W. Rinehart. Two years later they crossed the plains and settled near Cresswell. Then they moved to Condon where they lived for 30 years. She is survived by six children, W. N. Rinehart of Amity, D. M. Rinehart of Condon, C. H. Rinehart of Tacoma, Wash., Sarah A. Taylor of Milwaukie, G. L. Rinehart of Condon and Mary Halstead of Oakland, Cal. Funeral services were held Friday.
