Mrs. Richard Kline, Hampton, Dies Today
Mrs. Elizabeth Slaybaugh Kline, 83, died this morning at 7:50 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs [sic] George Kimmel, Hampton. She had been ill for some time. Her husband, Richard Kline, died in 1943.
Mrs. Kline was a daughter of the late John and Ellen (Fohl) Slaybaugh and is survived by these children: Dennis R. Kline, New Oxford R 1; Harry W., New Oxford; Mrs. Kimmel, at whose home she died; and Mrs. Paul Bupp, Gardners R. 1. There are 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The deceased was a member of the Hampton Lutheran Church and of the Sunday School class taught by John Chronister.
Funeral services Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Lutheran Church at Hampton where Mrs. Kline's body will lie in state from 1 p m. [sic] The Rev. Jack R. Gardner will officiate. Interment in the Hampton Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock at the Pittenturf Funeral Home at York Springs.
