Derbert F. Winters
Derbert F. Winters, 85, passed away March 3, 2012.
Born in Fairview, Derbert had lived in the Akron area most of his live. He worked in production at the Lawson Milk Company, retiring in 1985 with over 31 years of service. He was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church and Adoniram Joppa Lodge #517 F. & A M.
Derbert was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Nellie, brothers, Craig, Herbert, Paul and Kenneth.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine; daughters, Sally (Robert) Lewis of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Carol (Jonathan) Hymes of Myrtle Beach S. C.; brother Earl (Elsie) Winters of North Carolina; grandchildren, Loreleigh (Joshua Elders) Lewis and Sean (Anns) Lewis all of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at the Tallmadge United Methodist Chruch, 207 N. Munroe Rd. in Tallmadge with Rev. Dr. Barry French officiating. Interment will be at the Hillside Memorial Park. Calling hours will be 5 until8 p.m. Tuesday March 6, 2010 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave.
