Sedro Woolley - Shirlene, age 92, passed away peacefully in Sedro Woolley on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born the 9th of 10 children in Clayton, New Mexico on August 21, 1930 the daughter of Barney and Nannie (Hulsey) Dellinger. Shirlene grew up in Clayton where she attended grade school and high school. She enjoyed playing basketball on her high school team.

Shirlene married Dick Frazier in 1946 when he returned from Europe where he served in WWII. Together they had two boys, Roy Lee and Loyd Louis. In 1952, they packed up their kids and belongings and moved to Skagit County, the land of opportunity. They worked for Norm Nelson to get their feet on the ground and then Shirlene bought Modern Cleaners. After a few years, Mr. Bishop gave her an opportunity to work at Skagit State Bank. She started down in the basement counting money but was soon moved to teller where her bubbly personality was put to good use. She did all this as well as helping on the family farm. In 1975 she went to work at Agrichem where she met and married her second husband, Laurence Lorenzen. She began her career as a Mary Kay Consultant in the 80's and continued with that until 2015, even achieving the privilege of driving a pink Cadillac!

Shirlene enjoyed family gatherings with home made ice cream, corn on the cob and burgers. There were many mornings her boys came in from milking only to be greeted by freshly baked cinnamon rolls! She was the quintessential hostess and was in her element in her kitchen! She and Laurence enjoyed spending winters in Arizona.

Shirlene is survived by her two sons: Roy Lee Frazier and his wife Jackie Frazier of Bow, Loyd Louis Frazier and his wife Joan Frazier of Burlington. Four grandchildren: Jeff Frazier, Jennifer MacKay (Ben), Dr. April Frazier and Bethany Frazier. Eight great grandchildren: Kyle Hedblom, Tyson, Quyntin and Austyn Frazier and Kenna, Kaelyn, Brennan and Kira MacKay. She is also survived by many "Dellinger" nieces and nephews.

Shirlene was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Nannie Dellinger, her first husband Dick Frazier, her second husband Laurence Lorenzen and her nine brothers and sisters: Cecil Dellinger, Barney Dellinger, Edith Atchley, Ruby Scott, Gene Dellinger, JC Dellinger, Kenneth Dellinger, Edward Dellinger and Walt Dellinger.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Shirlene's niece, Patricia Sanders who gave so much to Shirlene out of love and devotion and also to Birchview who helped Shirlene navigate Alzheimers with grace and dignity. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements and Services are under Hawthorne's care. There will be a public memorial service on January 4th at 2pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home.
