Fieldstone marker with the given name possibly George, and the rest illegible when the DAR surveyed Stumpf Cemetery in the 1950s. It was not read in the 1963 survey, unknown if it was completely unreadable by that time, broken, missing or simply overlooked. The fact that the marker was fieldstone suggests the death occurred before the 1840s; the condition suggests it may have been one of the earlier graves in the cemetery, possibly before 1820.

The Pickaway County genealogical association notes a Daniel Harper came to Pickaway County around 1810 and leased land. George (?) may have been a son or other member of his family. No other information located.
