Adolph E. Waltz, a native of Waldoboro, died at his home in South Portland Monday after a short illness. He was born here Jan. 12, 1860 and was in the undertaking business here for many years. After the death of his wife, Nellie Chapman Waltz he went to Portland to make his home with his daughter Mrs. Jessie Buckley who survives him. He was a member of the local First Baptist Church and of Germania Lodge, I.O.O.F. His body was brought here for burial in Rural Cemetery.
