HELEN M. ELLIS, 77, once of New Brunswick
MIAMI - Helen M. Ellis, 77, of 87th Avenue, formerly of New Brunswick, died yesterday at Coral Reef General Hospital after an illness of several month.
Mrs. Ellis was born in New York City and lived in New Brunswick for more than 50 years, moving to Florida in 1964.
She was an honorary member of the South Miami chapter 250, EIS, and a former member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Highland Park.
She was the widow of Sedric E. Ellis, who died in 1962. Surviving are a son, Clifford A. of Trenton; three daughters, Helen Louise Wicks of Patchogue, N.Y., Mary Elizabeth Prentiss and Ruth E. Murray, both of Miami; two brothers, Charles Mitchell of Piscataway and George P. Mitchell of Metuchen; two sisters, Katherine Mitchell of Fulton, N.Y., and Dorothy West of Edison, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. Burial will be on Saturday at Howells Cemetery, Howells, N.Y
