Josephine "Josie" Snow was the daughter of Isaac Snow and Elizabeth Ann Cummings. She first married George Matthew Goates about 1860 in Witts Springs, Searcy, Arkansas. One child was born, Elizabeth Francis Goates Clayton. After the death of George in 1862, Josie remarried to Joseph Jackson Drewry. Four children were born: David Carroll Drewry, Marshall Payton Thomas Drewry, Benjamin F. Drewry, and Margaret Amanda Drewry Laymon.
