Mrs. Bertha Berg Funeral Services Held Monday (April 11, 1965)
Mrs. Bertha Berg, 75, died Friday at 9 a.m. at the Osseo Area hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Berg was born in Sumner township April 21, 1889, to Ole and Anna Udahl. She was married to Bennie Berg May 17, 1912. The couple farmed in Hale township until their retirement in 1945, when they moved into Pigeon Falls. Mr. Berg died in 1958.
Survivors are: one son, Byron, Hale township; one daughter, Mrs. Norman (Sylvia) Amundson, Strum; six grandchildren, and one brother, August Hoff, Osseo.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Pigeon Falls Evangelical Lutheran church, the Rev. Gordon Trygstad officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
