Lancet W. "Cliff" Anders, 85, a longtime Wenatchee area carpenter, died Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Central Washington Hospital. He was born September 1, 1920, at Lemons, MO. to Lancet H. and Mable (Thorn) Anders. He recieved his early education at Unionville, MO. He married Dorothy Wertz on September 5, 1938 at Aurora, MO. He served in the US Army from 1943 until his honorable discharge in 1945. Cliff was a self taught carpenter and also during his life, worked as farmer, logger, mechanic and painter. His hobbies included fishing, woodworking, car races, picking fruit and growing flowers. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Harvey Lee Anders of Olympia, Roger Lane Anders of Wenatchee and Jack Lynn (Sharra) of East Wenatchee; two daughters, Marjorie (Lonnie) Archibald of Forks and Joann (Dan) Slee of Quincy; sisters, Anna Nelson, Chrystal Govas, Ruby May Carey and Clara Mabel Krambreck; brothers, Boyd "Coke" Anders, Neal Anders, Fred Anders and Les Anders; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Victor; brothers, Harley, Bob and Walter; and sister, Kathleen.

Memorial Service will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Friday, August 4, 2006, in the Mausoleum at Evergreen Memorial Park, East Wenatchee, WA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones and Jones Funeral Home.
