Daughter of Josiah Noah Boone and Hannah Hite.

In 2010 for the first time ever a book was published on the descendants of Josiah Noah Boone I and II stating that she was the daughter of Hannah Hite, his first wife, rather than as some claimed his 2nd wife, Hannah Henton/Hinton

This was revealed in records the author's of the book were able to find by paying researchers to comb through state and county records.

As far as anybody knew Hannah's father Josiah Noah Boone II didn't have a will. That was found to be true but what the researchers did find was the estate records showing who received what from the estate. I was one of the first to receive a copy of the book and a copy of the estate records.

Leah, her sister Hannah, and two-daughter's of Josiah Noah Boone II and his marriage to Elenor Ellender Bryan (Sister of Rebecca Bryan Boone-Daniel's wife) his third wife received the majority of those proceeds. Telithe Boone Horseman buried here is one of those daughters from the third marriage the other was Charity Boone.

Josiah Noah Boone II died in 1825, that was shortly after Christopher and Leah purchased 3,000 acres of land in Daviess Co., Kentucky, while Leah's sister, Hannah and James Barnhill purchased the adjoining 3,000 acres from a large land sale being held at that time.

This cemetery sits on land that was included in that 3,000 acres.
