Birth Name: Najib Abraham was his birth name before coming to America and changing it to Edward Nahra Abraham. (as per his nephew, Don Abraham)

Ed Abraham was born in Beirut, Lebanon February 11, 1876. He arrived in the United States on 4 July 1900 and went immediately to Bristow, Oklahoma where a brother, Joe, was living. He married Nellie Gray Campbell on July 20, 1902 in Bristow, where they had two boys and two girls.

He worked for two years as a door-to-door salesman, then established Bristow's first general merchandise store, which he operated until the late 1930's. At that time, he moved to a ranch near Bristow and established the Mount Lebanon Dairy, which he operated until he retired in 1954. Ed Abraham died in August 1973 at age ninety-eight. They had four children, two boys and two girls.

A rosary was rited, and funeral mass was celebrated at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. He was buried in Bristow City Cemetery at Bristow, Oklahoma.
