Maryellen was born July 2, 1922, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Elias Wesley and Mary H. Smith. Her family, church and friends were the most important parts of her life. She was a gentle, caring person and will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Maryellen was preceded in death by her husband, Godfrey Daniel Vadner; three brothers; one sister; and one granddaughter, Sarah.
Survivors: Children, Carole, Douglas, Michael and Gary and their spouses; sister, Mildred; grandchildren, Jon, Rob, Scott, Jennifer, Jerry, Chris, Emily and David; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Payton, Ian and Ana.
