Baer, Adam Martin, son of Henry H. and Barbara (Martin Risser) Baer, was born at Hagerstown, Md., Feb. 2, 1890; died of a heart attack at Clearfield Home, Hagerstown, Md., Mar. 16, 1975; aged 85 y. On Dec. 8, 1910, he was married to Ella S. Martin, who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters (Lydia Marie Mrs. Eldad J. Keener, Ruth Naomi - Mrs. Bennett H. Torkelson, and Miriam Ella Mrs. Reuben W. Eberly), 3 sons (Mervin Joseph, Harry E., and Nelson L. Baer), 3 brothers (Henry, Isaac, and Benjamin), and 3 sisters (Lizzie Mrs. Jonas Hege, Leah Mrs. Stanley Martin, and Martha). He was a member of Salem Ridge Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Mar. 19, in charge of Norman H. Martin and Glenn Martin; interment in Paradise Mennonite Church Cemetery.
