Marion Q. Lange, 83, retired mill worker and farmer was found dead at his home in Stites, Idaho, on Saturday by his daughter, Mrs. Fonney Smith.

Mr. lange was born Feb. 8, 1883, at Bloom City, Wis., and married Effie Downey Aug. 19, 1907, at Viola, Wis. Mrs. Lange died in 1962. They lived in Wisconsin and Utah before coming to the Clearwater River area in 1936.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Smith, Stites; Mrs. M.O. Pardew, Parma, Idaho, and Mrs. Velma Lynn, Keller, Wash; a son, Burl Lange, Weippe, Idaho; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were to be held today, Sep 13, 1966, at Trenary's Funeral Chapel, Kooskia, Idaho, with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery.
