Alex Modesitt, 84 years old, retired Perry township farmer, died Tuesday morning at his home near Cory.
He was a member of the Cory Methodist church.
Surviving are the widow, Edith; two sons, Ernest Modesitt of Lafayette, and Everett Modesitt of R.R. 4, Brazil; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The body was brought to the Miller & Son Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning, the Rev. John Howell officiating. Burial will be in Rhule Cemetery. Friends are to call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
