George W. Davis, a resident of Bellwood, died at a local hospital on Wednesday afternoon, after two week's Illness resulting from an infection of an Injury to his left hand, which he injured while at his work as a Pennsylvania railroad watchman at Cresson. Mr. Davis was aged 58 years. He was a member of the Bellwood Evangelical church and of Bellwood lodge No. 19. I.O.F. Surviving are his aged mother. Mrs. Mary Jane Davis, of Bellwood, and the following children: Willard. Stewart and Herman Davis, all of Bellwood; Mrs. Maude William. of Gallitzin. and Miss Ethel, at home; two brothers and sister, Samuel, of Altoona; William and Mrs. S. M. Burns, of Bellwood.
