Miss Dezzie Ruth Leonard, daughter of Mr. & Mrs M. E. Utterback, 1318 North College street, died in St. Mary's hospital at 6 a.m. Saturday after an illness of five years.

She was born in Olney Feb 28, 1908. Surviving besides the parents are a brother John Leonard, Decatur; three sisters, Miss Charlotte Utterback and Mrs. Ida Doser of Decatur and Mrs Flora Meadows of Olney; a grandfather, John Lane and an uncle Harl Lane both of Decatur and a nephew Floyd Meadows of Olney. She was a member of St. James Catholic church.

The body is in Moran and Son funeral home, where it will remain until 9:47 a.m. Sunday. It will then be taken to Dundas where graveside services will be held at 4 p.m.
