Ruesch, Allan
Allan Ruesch, age 84, of Provo, died March 22, 2005. He was born July 15, 1920 in Springdale, Utah, to Walter and Marilla Crawford Ruesch. He married Helen Francis Pectol on June 4, 1942 in St. George, Utah. She passed away on May 30, 1983 in Harlingen Texas. He married Laurel Cross Carpenter on August 16, 1983 in Mesa, Arizona.

Allan retired as claims manager from Southland Life Insurance Co. in Dallas, TX. after20 years of service. He served as a Stake Patriarch in the Harlingen Texas Stake and BYU 16th,19th and 21st Stakes for a combined 22 years.

He is survived by his wife Laurel of Provo; four daughters, Helena Lawson of McKinney,TX; Kathy (Herb) Karpicke of Houston, TX; Allana (Jeff) Oyler of Willard, UT; Melanie (Teddy) Davis of Provo, UT; step-children
Fred (Glenda) Carpenter of LaCresenta, CA; Margaret (RS) Ford of Provo, UT; and a great posterity of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was
preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Helen, and by brothers Alvin, Lawrence Herman, Rupert, Victor, and one sister Reta Rozelle. In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to the humanitarian and Perpetual Educational Funds of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Funeral
services will be held Friday, March 25, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., in the Grandview
South Stake Center, 1122 North Grand Ave, Provo. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Thursday evening, from 6-8 p.m., or Friday morning, at the Ward Chapel, one hour prior to services. Interment, Springdale City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.BergMortuary.com.
