Services for Nellie M. Loving, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.

Mrs. Loving, 88, died May 2, 2008, at her residence. She was born in Pike County on July 2, 1919, to Walter Hodges and Marganie Brown Hodges.

She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of Pearlhaven Baptist Church and a past Matron of Order of the Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; eight brothers and sisters; her son, Lamar Wallace; and several grandchildren.

Survivors are her husband, Bill Loving; her son, Jamie Loving, of Bogue Chitto, and Lewis Wallace, of Chatawa; her daughters, Shirley Wallace Arnold and Peggy Wallace May, both of Smithdale; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials or gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Pearlhaven Baptist Church Building Fund.
