Attended rural grade school in the Callaway area; with family moved to Kearney, went to junior high school and graduated from Kearney High School; attended Kearney Normal School, then taught in rural Buffalo County schools.
Married: Dec. 24, 1936, to Glen Beadle. He died March 11, 1998.
Activities: member of First Christian Church, the Church Circle, B.P.O. Does, Red Hats and several bridge groups and was a charter member of the Soil Sisters garden club; enjoyed playing golf and knitting.
Survivors include her sons, Steve and Kern, both of Kearney; daughters, Glenda Williams of Glenrock, Wyo., and Carol Letcher of Pleasanton; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; also daughter-in-law, Danita Beadle of Kearney; and sons-in-law, Dale Williams of Glenrock and Myron Letcher of Pleasanton.
Was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
