Mrs. Shatto had lived alone on her farm since the death of her husband several years ago. About two weeks previous to her death, she fell and sustained an injury which resulted in her last illness.
The deceased was born May 27, 1835, and was married to Mr. Shatto in October 1854. She leaves no children, though two sisters and two brothers still survive her.
The funeral was conducted in the home Monday afternoon by Rev. F. P. DeBolt. Interment at the Shatto cemetery." The Milan Standard (Milan, Missouri), July 9, 1908
