Dale Harrison age 76 of Oxnard passed away with his family at his side Friday Jan. 7 2000 following a brief illness.
Mr. Harrison was a Native of Oklahoma born Oct. 12 1923 in Gracemont and had been a 48-year Ventura County resident. Dale had worked in the commercial and agricultural machinery business for many years last working for and retiring from Staben Equipment Company. Mr. Harrison proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his loving wife of many years Betty.
Those who remain and survive his passing are: daughters Candy Ellis of Boston Sandra Guthrie and her husband Lee of Oxnard and Carla Gonzales and her husband Daniel of Oxnard; grandchildren Jackie and Jeremy Ellis Natalie and Erin Gonzales and Christopher and Lindsey Guthrie; and sisters Azalee Cooper Peggy Harrison and Chole Carson.
A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 11 2000 at the Camino del Sol Memorial Center and Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dean Coonradt officiating. Burial will immediately follow funeral services at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park 5400 Valentine Road Ventura. Friends may call in person for visitation on Monday Jan. 10 2000 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
