Ernest Paul Boecker, 78, of Danville died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, at Great River Medical Center ED in West Burlington.
Born Oct. 5, 1929, in Burlington he was the son of Henry J. and Theresa Dittmer Boecker. On June 20, 1953, he married Eleanor Rose Parillo in New Haven, Conn.
Mr. Boecker was a truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters for 34 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and two sisters.
