Obituary
The funeral of one of the most esteemed citizens took place on Sunday, April 17 from his late home. Mr. Casey was born Oct 4, 1852, and spent his married life of more than 60 years in Victoria Beach. . . He was for many years deacon of the United Baptist Church. His wife predeceased him four years. Five children survive; Ansel of Port Wade; Walton, John and LeRoy of Victoria Beach; and Mrs. Charles Haynes, also of Victoria Beach. Funeral services wee conducted by Rev. W. B. Crowell, with interment in Garden of Peace Cemetery.
