Eufaula, Ala., May 27 - Mrs. H.H. Conner of Eufaula died Friday morning at 7 o'clock following an operation after which complications set in. She was the wife of the mayor of Eufaula. Though she had not been in good health for some time, her death came as a great shock to the community. She was greatly loved for her sweet disposition and her strong Christian character, and she leaves a wide circle of friends who regret learning of her death.
Before her marriage to H. H. Conner, she was Miss Frances Howard of Autaugaville. She was 37 years of age. She is survived by her husband and five children as well as a large number of relatives in South Alabama.
The funeral will be held at the home on Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
