She is survived by her sister, Ann Hanson of Arlington Heights; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Orville, and one sister, Ceil Henning.
Bernadine first taught American service men's families in Germany during the war and then was a first-grade teacher in California. She truly loved her children.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
