John Wesley Carroll (1815 – 1897) and Huldah Smith Hearne (1821 – 1856) in Macon, Bibb Co., Georgia, she married 21 Aug 1865 in Jackson Parish, La. to George Washington Lantrip which is spelled Landtrip on the headstone and probably used that way at the time but later changed by the family. They were parents of Linnie Elizabeth Lantrip (1866 – 1894), Mary Lantrip (1868 – 1880), Margaret Morticia Lantrip (1874 – 1960), James Malachi Lantrip (1876 – 1946) and Maude Alberta Lantrip (1884 – 1923).
