Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at a 12:30 p.m. Liturgy of the Word in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for David Kilchrist, Sr., age 57, who passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro.
Mr. Kilchrist was a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette. He was a firm believer in his religion and read the Bible often, having previously taught catechism in the past.
Survivors include two sons, David Kilchrist, Jr. and his wife, Chelsea, and Daniel Christopher Kilchrist, Sr. and his wife, Aaliyah; one daughter, Alexandria Romaine Kilchrist; one grandson, Daniel Kilchrist, Jr.; his mother, Agnes Lorena Gradney Kilchrist; and one brother, Joseph Kilchrist, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph "C.J." Kilchrist, Sr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. Saturday until service time on Saturday.
