She was the 2nd eldest daughter of John James Pearson and Mary Harris Briggs Pearson. She was baptized as an adult 1 Jan 1876 at Market Square Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, the same day as her sister Nellie. Her funeral service was conducted by Market Square where she was a member.
