Raymond Knoedler

November 24, 1931 - February 12, 2024


Raymond Knoedler passed away on February 12th, 2024 in Eugene, Oregon at the age of 92. Born in Cozad, Nebraska in 1931 to John and Hannah Knoedler. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen. They were married in 1974.


Kathleen had three children, David, Donald and Donna. She passed away in 2020. Raymond is survived by his sister Patricia and proceeded in death by Maxine, Harold and Keith. Raymond had a twin brother that passed in infancy. After high school, he served two years in the U.S. Army in Okinawa during the Korean War.


Raymond worked 32 years at Weyerhauser, as an industrial machinist. In his retirement, Ray enjoyed playing cards, going to the coast, bowling with family members and working around the yard.


Ray was a member of the United Lutheran Church and the Eagles Lodge.
