Frances Joan Allred Sorensen

Chester, UT - Frances Joan Sorensen, 88 of Chester, Utah, passed away peacefully November 11, 2023 surrounded by her family. Born June 21, 1935 to Aaron William & Edith Arvina Monsen Allred in Mount Pleasant, Utah. Frances grew up in Mount Pleasant, Utah and graduated from North Sanpete High School. She later met and married Earl William Sorensen on July17, 1953 in the Manti Temple.
Frances was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings. Among her favorites were genealogy research, ordinance worker in the Manti Temple along with her husband Earl and working in the Bishop Store House. She was the best bread maker and making pies, she enjoyed riding her bike with her grandkids and her pretty yard and garden. She loved when grandkids came to visit, dropping everything to make it special for them.
Frances is survived by her children, Aaron (Debbie) Sorensen, Blake (Miriam) Sorensen, Julie (Dave) Lee, Robert Sorensen, Richard Sorensen; brother Russell Allred; 16 grandkids, 25 great grandkids. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, granddaughter Sharlee Elizabeth Sorensen; siblings Mary Lou (David) Sorensen; Norma (Harold) Vance; Jeannine Mower; Gary Errol Allred.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing at 10:30 a.m. at the Spring City Cemetery.
