Hattie Andrews, 79, route 1, Monroe, died unexpectedly early today at her home.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Zwick Funeral Home and will be published
in Tuesday's edition.
A housewife, Mrs. Andrews was born in Adams County on October 14, 1896 to
Jonas and Lucy Zaugg-Hoffman, and was married to Harrison Andrews, who passed
away in August of 1967. Survivors include a son, Jack Andrews of route 4, Decatur; a
sister, Mrs Charles (Mary) Fisher of route 4, Decatur; two brothers, Otto Hoffman of
Monroe and Harry Hoffman of Camden, Mich.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Hattie M. Andrews, 79, route 1, Monroe, died unexpectedly Monday morning at her
residence.
She was born in Adams County on October 14, 1896, the daughter of Jonas and
Lucy Zaugg-Hoffman, and was united in marriage to Harrison Andrews on January 24,
1921. He died August 16, 1969.
Survivors include one son, Jack Andrews, route 4, Decatur; one sister, Mrs. Charles
(Mary) Fisher, route 4, Decatur; two brothers, Harry Hoffman, Camden, Mich.; Otto
Hoffman, Monroe; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Zwick Funeral Home, with
Rev. Kent Ulrey officiating Burial will be in the Ray Cemetery. Friends may call at the
funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
