Thomas McMackin Wilson was born in KY son of George Bailey Wilson and Agnes Nancy McMakin. Wayne Co History book pg B117 states George was in Rev War BUT this has not been verified. Thomas served under Gen Harrison in war of 1812.
Thomas married Rachel Fulkerson daughter of Philip Fulkerson and moved to IL around 1822. The Wayne Co history book calls him "an old pioneer" "A worthy man, of good sense, a fair education, very social, a warm hearted freind, and fond of a joke."
They moved to Wayne Co IL ,and are buried East of Fairfield, near Golden Gate, Wayne Co. IL There 10 children were
