Mrs. Mary E. Shafer
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Shafer,
widow of William G. Shafer, died
at the home of her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George
Easterday, in Feagaville Saturday
night at 11:30 p.m. after an illness
of three months, aged 80 years.
She was a daughter of the late
George M. and Minerva Warrenfeltz
Brandenburg of Frederick County.
She was a member of the Petersville
Lutheran chapel.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs.
George Easterday, Feagaville and
Mrs. Maurice Smith, St. Mark's,
and one son, Filmore Shafer of
Petersville: three sisters, Miss
Emma Brandenburg, Lewistown,
Miss Josephine Brandenburg, St.
Mark's, and Mrs. Harry G. Stone,
Frederick: onr brother, Clarence
Brandenburg, near Frederick.
Three grandchildren and one great
grandchild also survive. The body
is at the funeral home, 106 East
Church street, where the funeral will
take place Tuesday afternoon at
2 o'clock. Interment will be in the
Middletown Reformed cemetery. M. R.
