(Stover) Davis; son John Tyler Davis & his wife Bev Davis of New Paris, OH: 4 daughters, Grace Elizabeth Combs of New Lebanon, OH; Becky Lee Samson of Eaton, OH; Susan Marie Mendenhall & her husband Travis Mendenhall of New Lebanon, OH; and Sarah Anne Niswonger & her husband Larry Niswonger of West Alexandria, OH: grandchildren Joshua Tyler Combs, Matthew Jacob Combs, Aleesha Nicole Voge, Ashlee Marie Cornett, William Joseph Nelson, Jeremy Michael Davis, Eric Scott Kreitzer, Amber Suzanne Niswonger and Travis Lee Mendenhall. Great Grandchildren Lynnlee and Elliot Voge, Graycen and Rozalyn Cornett, Isaiah Tylerlee Niswonger, Bethanie Francis and Harly Mae; 4 sisters, Genevieve Rusk, Isabelle Floyd, Gertrude Stover and Patricia Ashley; brother Ernie Davis of Camden, OH; special companion Jayden Leroy. Tyler was a member of the First Brethren Church of West Alexandria, OH; was a volunteer Fireman for the Village of West Alexandria for over 22 years. He was a Preble County farmer for over 25 years; a factory worker for Rexarc, Inc. of West Alexandria, OH for over 20 years and a freight worker for over 10 years for American Freight System, Inc. Of Vandalia, OH. He was a member of Teamsters Local 957 of Dayton, OH and a member of the West Alexandria Lions Club. Tyler was very active in his community and enjoyed walking with his dog and family. He loved Bluegrass and Gospel Music. He was an outstanding fisherman and mushroom hunter. He enjoyed raising a vegetable garden and caring for the birds and squirrels. He loved his family very much and spent quality family time with each and everyone. God Bless you Husband, Father, and Pap. Your earthly jobs are complete and your life with God lives on forever.
Funeral services were held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the First Brethren Church of West Alexandria, 28 East Third St., West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Curt Nies presiding followed by burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.
