In June of 1932 she married Charles Raynor Knox, who was killed in action during WWII on November 20, 1944 in the Battle of Hurtgen Forest, Germany. Their son Charles "Tom" Knox was born in August 18, 1942. He retired as Hamilton's Police Chief in 1993 and currently is the Police Chief of Union Township Clermont County. In 1948 Mrs. Wilson married Samuel Austin Wilson who passed away on July 5, 1964.
She is survived by her son Charles "Tom" Knox and daughter-in-law Sue Knox of Hamilton; granddaughter Kristen Bevis and husband Steve of Shandon; grandson Craig Knox and fiancée Tammy Snyder of Lebanon; 2 brothers; 5 sisters and numerous special friends from Manor Care of Woodridge.
May she rest peacefully, knowing she was the matriarch of a family that has been, and will continue to be a source of pride for her to watch over eternally.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family at Rose Hill Burial Park. The Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, Fairfield is serving the family. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
