Long ill, 83 year old Mrs. Minnie Stalcup died Saturday at the Blair Convalescent Home. She had long been a resident of Blair. Her husband, who preceded her in death several years ago, was a one-time early-day big-league baseball player. He was with the old St. Louis Browns from 1881-1885.
Surviving Mrs. Stalcup are a son, Chester Stalcup, and a daughter, Mrs. Letha Dunn, both of Chicago. Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment followed in Kennard Cemetery.
