WALTER S. SUTTON RITES SUNDAY
Walter S. Sutton, well known in this community, passed away Thursday, February 19, at the home of his sister, Mrs. R. L. Stalcup of this city.
Deceased was born April 14, 1874, in Carter County, Tennessee and came to this county in his early manhood.
He was married in 1896 to Miss Anna Jensen, and to this union one daughter was born, now Mrs. Benton Marsh of Denver, Colorado, who with one sister, Mrs. R. L. Stalcup, and three brothers, C. R. of Blair; C. C. of Hennessy, Oklahoma; and R. L. of Covington, Oklahoma, survive him.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 22, at two o'clock p.m. from the Campbell Mortuary with Rev. T. A. Lindenmeyer officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

Benton was born on December 2, 1893 at Falls city, Nebraska to George W., # 27883825 and Anna R., # 27883840 Marsh. Siblings; Stella (b ca 1878 in NE and d 1887), Nellie May Greenburg (b ca 1886-87 in NE and married Charles F Greenburg (b ca 1887-88 in NE), Wayne, and Arthur.
I did not run across a 1920 census, but Hazel and Ben were residing in Denver, Colorado in both 1930 and 1940.
Walter and Anna were divorced by 1920, and Walter was residing in Washington County.
Buried: 2/22/1942 ~ Age: 67
