Marquette Heights, IL - Karl Martin, 85, of 719 Joliet Road passed away at 1:50 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008, at Pekin Hospital.
He was born in Mamuslia, Romania to Wilhelm and Magdalena (Stom) Martin. He married Waneda D. McGee on December 1, 1962 in Washington. She died May 17, 2000.
Karl was also preceded in death by one daughter, Marlene Metts; one sister; and one brother.
Surviving are one son, Karl H. (Tami) Martin; a son-in-law, Bill Metts; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Alfred Martin; and one sister, Annette Weiler.
Karl worked as an auto body repairman for 25 years, retiring from Ideal Autobody.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.
