Christine (Christy) Johnson Neidigh, age 43, made her transition to the next part of her life, on April 8, 2008.
She was like a ray of sunlight to all who knew her, despite many health challenges throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by her parents, Mary Ann and Ed Johnson, her sisters, Beth Ghertler (Randy) and Joan Johnson, niece, Courtney Smith and nephew, Morgan Johnson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis.
We invite all of Christine's friends to join us in an informal celebration of her life on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 2PM at the Unity Church, 716 N. 9th Ave.
The family would like to thank Dr. Philip Boudreaux for his care of Christine for many years, including a pancreas and kidney transplant 14 years ago. We would like to thank the staff of ICU at Oschner Medical Kenner for five weeks of dedicated care.
Christine loved life to the fullest every day. In memory of her, in lieu of flowers, take a class, go on a trip, or do something you always wanted to do but never took the time.
