Funeral Services for Mrs. Angelene Ashburn, age 88, of Clarkrange, were held at the Camp Ground Church, near Clarkrange at 2 oclock Wednesday afternoon, August 10. The ministers were, Robert Bowen, pastor of the Bethleham Baptist Church in this county, and Daily Norrod pastor of the Martha Washington Church in Fentress County.
Pallbearers for the burial held in the cemetery nearby, were her grandsons.
Mrs. Ashburn died about 4:00 o'clock Monday afternoon, August 8, in the Monterey hospital. She was a native of Fentress County, lived all of her many years there, where she was united with the Camp Ground Presbyterian Church at an earl age.
Among her survivors are Alvin and Bailey, both of Clarkrange; five daughters, Mrs Etta McCray, Monterey; Mrs. Laura Thomasson, Mrs Nellie McDonald, Mrs. Ellie Keyes, Mrs. Dollie McDonald, all of Calrkrange; a sister Mary Etta Wakefield, of Detriot, Mich,. 31 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
Among other relatives known here are her niece, Mrs Ray Smallen, and her nephew Harriason Shillings, both of whom reside here.
