George J. Bickle, age 82, pioneer merchant of Whitefield, died at his home there Saturday afternoon.
Funeral services were held in Baptist Church in Whitefield Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. J.P. Martindale officiating.
Burial was in the Whitefield Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were E.O. Clark and Ott Clayton of Stigler W.E. Ratterlee and A.M. Robbins of Whitefield.
He is survived by his widow, four sons, Elbert of Whitefield, Sam of the U.S. Army, Robert and Lee of California; and three daughters.
