Wayne Bickle was a pool hall proprieter, and on the night of March 6, 1915, he died at his home in Scipio from gunshot wounds received from police officer John Glenn. The two had argued earlier in the day about a gambling arrest Glenn had made on Wayne Bickle three weeks prior. Wayne had just emerged from a restaurant, where he had eaten supper, when the shooting took place.
