Gae R. Manhard, age 84, of Scipio, Utah, died peacefully on April 26, 2008 at the Victorian House in Levan, Utah.
Born in Scipio, Nov. 21, 1923 to Willard LeRoy Robins and Orlette Nebeker. Married Leo Halsey, later divorced. Together they had a child Robyn who was the joy of her life. At the age of 30 he was senselessly murdered causing a sorrow and void in Gae's life that could never be filled. Married Carl Leavitt who died after several years of marriage. Later in life Gae married her high school sweetheart, William O. Manhard. Bill and Gae were sealed together forever in the Manti Temple. Together they shared a lot of love and joy until Bill died of cancer in 2000. Gae loved gardening and animals. She loved to share her flowers with friends and neighbors. She enjoyed writing and wrote several beautiful poems.
At Gae's request, a Graveside Service will be held at Scipio Cemetery on Tues., April 29, at noon.
